Use the meta author and meta keywords tags..?
I’ve searched the forums and tried one or two of the suggestions involving forms, but for some reason, everytime I try the txp:meta_xxxx tags, I only get an empty line in the page. This is when using the tags directly in the head of a page template or in a custom form. Any ideas?
I’m sure it’s something stupid I’ve missed. :)
Using TXP 4.0.3
TIA

the txp:meta_keywords tag only works on an individual article page
does it work in that context?

Re: Use the meta author and meta keywords tags..?
I did see this, but was confused by the term ‘article page’.
Is this a article, a page template or (less likely) a form? I think the wiki needs a little clarification there for newbies.
So I tried them all – and the same result everytime – blank lines where the tag is inserted. The rest of my template and tags work great. This is my second TXP site, so I’d like to think I’m over the initial learning curve – but perhaps not! :/

Re: Use the meta author and meta keywords tags..?
I’m sure it’s explained well somewhere… but when you see your site from the front-end, you basically have “list” pages and “individual article” pages; for example:
- the url
/about
is calling a section called “about” and atxp:article
tag in that context will output 10 most recent articles posted in “about” - the url
/about/credits
is calling an article titled “credits” in the “about” section … thetxp:article
tag in this context is outputting a single article
having said all that, try txp:keywords
as the tag
