Strange Clean URLs/.htaccess issues

Using the default .htaccess with a private host. Originally they did not have mod_rewrite installed and then when he installed it he spoke of finding the “file”—

So now my section home pages work fine (ie: site.com/blog is perfect) but individual article pages (ie. site.com/blog/entry-title) just appear as the section home page (ie. site.com/blog/entry-title looks like site.com/blog). Anyone know whats up with that? Is it the host? Is it something I can fix on my end? Please help!

Re: Strange Clean URLs/.htaccess issues

A host that doesn’t know what modrewrite is… wee… The “-” file is not a file, that’s an instruction to the server to check other existing rewrite rules first. :)

Have you changed your pages/forms in any way? If you swap back to messy urls, does everything act normally?
