Warning: mysql_query()

I’m new to this and don’t know much about mysql. I have started on my first blog and suddenly I get this line:

Warning: mysql_query(): Unable to save result set in […]/public_html/blog/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php on line 56

Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this?
