Strange thing on my website

I have this strange thing on my textpattern website.

When I load it on firefox everything goes as expected. BUT, when i load it on IE, the first new (upper center side ) does not appear at all. It only apears when one scrools down the page and then goes up again, or if one minimises the webpage just to maximise it again !?

Try it with IE and see it for yourselves. Solution needed …

my webpage is www.semanariocientifico.com

thanks

Re: Strange thing on my website

I don’t have access to IE right now, but you should be aware that <a href=“http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fsemanariocientifico.com%2Ftextpattern%2Fcss.php%3Fs%3Ddefault&usermedium=all”>your css does not validate</a>. That may affect why your site doesn’t look the same in different browsers.

Also, the Troubleshooting Forum is really intended for when Textpattern (the software) doesn’t act as it should, not your own site. This sort of question belongs more in <a href=“http://forum.textpattern.com/viewforum.php?id=8”>Layout & CSS Discussion</a>

Re: Strange thing on my website

Ok…

I’ve just posted here because I didn’t knew if it was the textpattern who was not working well, for some reason. I’«m going to change to Layout & CSS Discussion.

Although I would be pleased if you could tell me where you checked my CSS validation so I can do it and correct anything….

Thanks
