Slow as heck
So I have a nice little TXP site up and running for my local youth group. Well, I was originally hosted cheaply by a certain company and they had terrible service (what can you expect for .99 a month). Their MySQL queries were taking 30+ seconds to pass. Thus, I moved to powweb and things have been going pretty well on everything but TXP. I am STILL having slowness problems! If you view the source on my TXP site, and scroll to the bottom it tells you the query time. Its still 15 seconds. Now I am beginning to think its my code, not my host. Does anyone have any initial ideas on how to resolve this? (I tried ‘optimizing my mysql tables’ but that didnt do much). I am pretty new to MySQL and this is just frustrating…. (after making my youth group switch host for virtually no reason).

Sry for doublepost but I figured it out. I was inadvertantly going to my old hosting of the TXP site….no wonder.

Your site can’t be found.
15 seconds is way too much. It should be around 0.1. Try disabling all your plugins and update to TXP 4.0.3 (if you haven’t already). Then check it out.
