Giving some permissions to users : post only in some sections
Hi,
Is it possible in textpattern to allow some users to only post in some places on my website ?
Example : if I create a “flower” section, I would like to allow only those who sell flowers to post articles in this section.
You know what I mean ?

Unfortunately this is not possible in TXP yet.

Do you know if this will be available in the next future?
Currently at work we use SPIP, which does not allow this, so I’m trying other systems… Only one I found who does allow this is npds, but I cannot figure out how to use this feature yet… and npds does not pass the w3c validation…
Oh btw, I saw that textpattern passes the xhtml 1.0 transitional validation, but does it pass the 1.1 strict one as well ? (the official website does not)

Whether it will pass XHTML 1.1 is mostly down to you and how you code it. The TXP tag outputs won’t cause problems. My site is valid 1.1 and if I can do it…
