Diversity Coalition
Walla Walla Diversity Coalition
Update: The DNS are still propgating, I actually can’t see it yet myself. Sorry for the premature post
There are a few bugs to fix in IE 5.x with the pictures section, Other than that it should work with Win IE/Firefox/Safari.
Q: what kind of numbers should I be getting for TXP performance? I use a lot of conditionals.
Your input welcome.
Thanks to the following plugin developers. Wilshire, Hakjoon, Greenrift and many more.

Re: Diversity Coalition
OK Sorry folks.I had to change my DNS servers for all of the domains and make the site live. The address has been corrected.

Looks great! I like the color palette, and I’m not really a big fan of green. Nicely done. My one suggestion would be making the links in the top navigation section more visible. As it is currently, they’re almost unfindable:
<div style=“text-align:center;”> </div>Q: what kind of numbers should I be getting for TXP performance? I use a lot of conditionals.
The answer to that would be “it depends.” Do you know what kind of hardware the site is being served off of? Looking at the stats in your source code, it seems 3/4 of the build time is being spent on database queries…

Thanks, the css is not likely loading properly due to a lag in propagation in a DNS trasfer. There should be green tabs behind those links.
What browser are you using?

Re: Diversity Coalition
Hmm. Used FF 1.5 as well… yesterday… and saw those tabs. Using the 1.5.0.1 upgrade downloaded shortly after, however, the tabs are indeed gone – along with all the other background images (search, etc.). :\ Could we be looking at a bug?
Beautiful site. I couldn’t find much to pick on that wouldn’t be personal preference. :) Really outstanding job.

Re: Diversity Coalition
No background images in Camino or Safari, so it doesn’t seem related to the 1.5.0.1 update.
Your background url’s are looking kind of weird.
<pre>
#container {
background:url(/./diversity/siteImages/bodyBG.gif) repeat-y;
}
#banner {
background:url(x/./diversity/siteImages/newBanner_02.jpg) no-repeat top center;
}
</pre>

Re: Diversity Coalition
Oh, Duh! X( Thanks mrJoon
Sorry guys. What a dozer… In the meantime you can see the site here
I can’t edit the site right now, because, oddly enough, the DNS propigation hasn’t reached me yet.
But hackjoon is right, it’s the background image declarations that are at fault. They are set up so that I can edit css using firefox developer tools “edit css” feature and work with subdirectories. I won’t go into it, but everything works just fine unless you move files to their own domain… which I did…
As soon as I can get into the site to edit it I will correct the problems.

I love the subtle color scheme. It looks really elegant. Kudos.
