markdown

Ok, I prefer textile to markdown but <a href=“http://www.michelf.com/projects/php-markdown/”>here</a> is a method to implement markdown in txp for those ones who want it.

Re: markdown

It’s possible that it might be out of date. We’ve added one function to handle some block-level elements (when rendering comments) which may require some changes to the instructions. I remember reading about some people who had such problems a while back after a new release of Txp (4.0.3 or 4.0.2 I don’t remember).

Re: markdown

Yes, you also have to change the markup_comment($msg) function in textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php to for example not try to call the $textile->blockLite method. I at least hope that this is a valid solution ;)

Re: markdown

MarkDown works pretty well on my side. And indeed, you do have to edit some code to get the comments to work under Markdown.
