if_article_category_parent ?
Would it be possible to creat a function that checks for the parent category and, if match is found, lists the underlying categories? Could if_article_category_parent
be a solution to this?
What I want to achieve is to have a listing of, say book categories for when I’m browsing articles with a (sub-)category within “Books” but not have the same list appear elsewhere. Am I making sense here..?

Hello Anton,
have you read my announcement “Some changes to use txp as a cms” a few days ago here?
I suppose I did nearly what you need. Look at paragraph II and IV.
