Description
This plugin outputs the date of the last time you modified your site or the last time the site was update (as of later builds of RC3, comments contribute to the last modified date, this can be turned on or off via the admin tab). I was helping out hablablow over here with showing the last time he modified his site, and taking his advice, I’ve released it as a plugin.

Version 0.4

Outputs the date/time when your site was last updated or modified and the elapsed time since your site was update or modified

How To Use

Tags

Outputs the date of the last update/modification. Ex. 20 July 2005

Outputs the time since the last update/modification. Ex. 3 days ago.
Attributes

wraptag – wraps the output in the specified tag. span is the default

format – format of the date. Any acceptable PHP date format can be used. The default is d M y (mrz_lastsitemod_since doesn’t support this attribute)

class – assigns a css class to the to the output. The default is last-mod

Updates

0.4 – Updated plugin to version 0.4 and added a ‘since’ version of the tag as well as class attribute. new information over here

Great, I think I can use this. Does it count a new upload of an image as a site update as well?

I’m not sure, there isn’t any reason why it shouldn’t. The site update triggers I know of are:

Posting/Modifing Articles
Posting Comments
Changing Preferences

Unfortunately it doesn’t see adding a new image to a gallery (I’m using rss_thumbpop) as a site update :(

rss_thumbpop shouldn’t affect it anyway, i guess uploading a new image doesn’t trigger the update time

So does anyone have this plugin? The link to the download page returns a 404 whereas the site is under construction. I’d love to try the plugin but i just can’t find it anywhere
