Is this easily done with txp?
Say I’ve got my site which consists of a blog type page and a few staic pages. I am going to want to incorporate a search form into one of the pages which will allow me to search a database of jokes. It will allow the user to search for joke name, date, etc…
How easliy done is something like this with textpattern? I assume you need to have a separte database set up aside from textpattern’s, I’ve just never attempted something like this and wasn’t sure how to go about it with textpattern? Is there a link someone can supply or breifly explain the process and difficulty?

Re: Is this easily done with txp?
Thank you for the link. That is not exactly what I need, although it might work. I was speaking of having a form with lets say (hypothetically speaking here)
Joke Name: (input box goes here)
Joke Topic: (input box goes here)
Date Added: (input box goes here)
::SEARCH:: <—-search button
Kinda like a contact form with input fields, etc…only you’re searching a database for the information.
Does that make sense?
