Articles as subdomains

Is it possible to have article paths displayed as sub-domains?

For exmaple:

Can: http://www.mySite.com/category/articleName be displayed as: http://articleName.mySite.com?

You would need a plugin to do that (generate the appropiate URL in html) and some rewrites rules or virtual subdomains sor Apache to handle it. It’s not a core feature for sure.
