TXP + gvisit.com
I just saw a link this morning to gvisit and found it to be a very cool visual tracker of recent visitors to my site. I asked a friend in another state to hit my site so I could see if it was working. Even after the hour it said it might take for hits to show up, his hit never showed up on gvisit, although it was right there in the Textpattern logs. I got him to hit it a few more times and his hits never show up. I got to looking at the logs from this morning and it seems a lot of the hits don’t register on gvisit, even with the last 20 visits limitation.
I’m curious if someone could work out a way to get gvisit to register all the hits that show up in Textpattern. Could a plugin be made where you’d have the choice of seeing hits in the default view or in a fashion like gvisit? Just curious. Maybe some wishful thinking on my part.
