File Categories Problems
I’ve been experiencing some problems with creating file categories and making them show. Currently, there are two categories listed under my File Categories area- but when I tried to create a new one, it gives me an error saying that the said category already exists (which it doesn’t or at least it’s not showing up). I found it weird so I went to take a look at the MySQL tables- and it’s there! In attempt to “start over”- I deleted the category via phpMyAdmin. Then I tried to create the file category again through textpattern, but it gave me the same error again. Looking at the MySQL tables, the category has reappeared. Yet it’s not showing.
As a side note, the lft and rgt of said categories were numbered in the 8000’s. I’m not sure what those two do, but I thought I’d mention it since the lft and rgt of other “operating normally” categories were all in much lower numbers. It was the only thing that appeared odd for these error categories.
Anyone have any idea what might be wrong here, and how I can go about fixing it?
EDIT: I’m using the latest Textpattern version 4.0.3 (r1188)
