Put a feed into a textpattern site?
I’ve done this with Wordpress in the past, but new to TXP. Is there a way to feed an RSS feed directly into a place on the site, usually the sidebar. I’ve done this with jots and del.icio.us links in the past as an alternative to xmlrpc posting. Anyone know how this can be done?

Here’s a manual way – http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=5741
Here’s a plugin – http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=5063
Hope one works for you!

Re: Put a feed into a textpattern site?
Funny thing happened. I want to figure out how to post a feed to my site using a textpattern plugin since I have about 43 different feeds I need and found this post I answered a couple of days ago. Looks like I didn’t answer the question you asked.
I did find a way to do this using a third party though. If you look at my NASCAR News page you see one I did using Feed Digest. This works fine as long as you don’t need a whole lot of feeds.

I found another one that doesn’t limit the amount of items nor the amount of feeds:
There is a link to an easy to install RSS parser that you can install on your own site that will also generate a Javascript code for you to include in your article.
I installed it and had it working in minutes. If you knew me and PHP, you’d know that you can’t get any easier than that.
Here;s a feed I made with it for a Dale Earnhardt Jr news feed from Google.
