can't post comments in IE
I am using the sdr_guestbook plugin
at the moment comments can not be entered from IE (while entries can be made without probs from other browsers)
I looked in the comment.php the “action” attribute is empty.
form method=“post” action=”“
I don’t know why it would work on other browsers and not IE. Could anyone tell me how to enter the url into the action attribute so that it perhaps forces the info to go to that page?
my permanent link mode is set to section/title
i have tried simply entering the page url in the action attribute but i get a 404 page each time

Re: can't post comments in IE
Please update to 4.0.3.
(I remember the problems being server-specific, not browser-specific, but recent versions of textpattern don’t leave the action field empty anyhow).

Re: can't post comments in IE
sencer – I upgraded to to .0.3
in my previous version i used Fabian De Rango`s hack for removing the preview field.
although i haven’t touched the comment.php file yet i am getting this message above my message input box
/public/post#cpreview” id=“txpCommentInputForm”
…more importantly, i can’t post comments at all now.
i assume its because i have edited the comments_form
any idea on what i need to do to get this functioning again?

There are a few forum threads on this, it’s also mentioned in the FAQ:
