Here is what I have in my “comments” form (just what is below the txp: message tag)

1. <txp:message />
2. <!-- Measure Map -->
3. <script type="text/javascript">< !--
4. if(!mmcomments){var mmcomments=[];}mmcomments[mmcomments.length]="<txp:comment_id />";
5. //--></script>

I’m still using the upm_comment_time though.
