Adjusting WP plugin for TXP
I have some programming skills but am new to PHP and TXP. The (general) question I have is whether it a lot of work making a Wordpress pluging suitable for TXP. Is this complex and not advisable for a beginner or worth a try?

This will depend completely on the plugin’s type and complexity. Usually it will be easier to simply write a plugin with the desired functionality (rather than learning/understanding someone elses code, learning how wordpress plugins affect the system, how Textpattern plugins work, and then trying to adapt it). For some plugins that bring hard-to-write, but well encapsulated and well tested functionality, it may be worth adapting a plugin.
