4.0.3: -- in URL (see yahoo) confuses textile
I’ve hit this a few times recently… with yahoo* and their ugly page urls and my textpattern blog… it seems that their tendence to end URLs with a double dash (-) is really screwing up the parser. Here are two examples of what I run into with an emdash turning into a DEL tag around a passage and the second example simply cutting the address short.
*besides this direct link to a photo I’ve also seen it for other pages including a direct link to their main tabs (like most popular) on http://news.yahoo.com/

(on preview: this forum software seems to not be screwing up the first case and finding a “del” where its not, but both are ending the URL early… not sure of a solution to that problem that doesn’t start running into legit punctuation issues.
