[contrib] Looking for Textileophiles

Since there are many developers here, many of whom may be interested in investing time into projects related to Textpattern, I figured I’d reiterate Drew McLellan’s call for devs.

Re: [contrib] Looking for Textileophiles

Good call, Andrew.

I would also like to invite people to document more advanced uses of Textile and/or document advanced Textile troubleshooting, here.

Based on McClellan’s article, there’s an apparent lack of — and need for — better Textile documentation; maybe we can do that in TextBook.

Re: [contrib] Looking for Textileophiles

I’ve been working on creating a podcast site based off of Textpattern. I just finished a plugin that allows me to edit id3 tags and make posts based off of the id3 info of a file. The plugin is pretty customized for my site specifically, but I tried to use as many TXP built-in functions as possible. I’m working on doing some documentation of it, as well as ensuring all my code is commented and explained.

The plugin may not be useable out of the box for other sites, but it would be easy enough to figure out how to customize it for your site.
