It is possible that this was a problem on our end. I did send an email, but it’s possible that mail wasn’t properly working at that moment. I’ll see if I can find out on some more on that. Thanks for letting us know.

sencer, just to let you know, i received the announcement mail today, dated the 29th. must have gotten stuck in a server somewhere :)

TXP will not work with config.php.default. Indeed you have to change it before installing into config.php!!!
Set up the whole thing again. you are only seconds far from having a correct install.

i downloaded the zip file, uploaded all contents into my subdirectory, and run /textpattern/index.php
and this turns out:
“config.php is not ok or not found. If you would like to install, go to [/subdir]/textpattern/setup/ “ and when i go to textpattern/setup, same thing happens.
You are probably accessing the wrong directory. Given your information, you have to go to
/textpattern/textpattern/ (or /textpattern/textpattern/setup/ )
