mystifying problem occurs
hey guys, hope all goes well!
I am using textpattern to build a small online magazine for our local art scene. I have a nice layout going there, and everything worked fine so far, my only problem is when i click an article to view the full one….
I am assuming when you post an article it goes to the article section, and when i changed the article section’s layout nothing happened, it still displays it as the default look….

check presentation / sections … articles … what page template have you selected for articles?
is this the one you’re modifying?

Sounds like you’re a bit confused about how articles relate to sections. See the FAQ for an overview.
Also, a little tip with Textpattern 4.0.3: with Production Status set to Testing, the Tag Trace (in HTML comments at the bottom of each page) now tells you what page template was used on that page:
