Re: Read More Feature

It looks like you were misunderstood. You are being given instructions for putting excerpts on the front page, You want to break up an article into several pages if needed.

You want this plugin I think.

Re: Read More Feature

Nothing I have done so far has worked.I have no links via the categories so I left that alone and moved on.I still have a white page for a site because using a theme took days and the fact that I still have a white page is testament to how that went.

The fact that you have other half-completed things not working means there’s even less chance of each subsequent change being successful. What you’re seeing are symptoms; ignoring them means the cause is still there, and that cause might have other effects too. It also makes it very hard for people to answer your questions: we can’t see what you see, and we don’t know what state your site is in.

You need to deal with one thing at a time.

Re: Read More Feature

There is nothing wrong with the blog.It was installed peferctly and I was even able to import my WP posts. The problem is understanding the TXP code and how to get things to actually show up.

The links and theme not working are a result of me not being able to simply get them to work so I just “let them be” and moved on to another task.

This is my site, but there isn’t really anything to see: http://blackhoney.cocoalounge.org

Ah. I guess I misread “Nothing I have done so far has worked” as “Nothing I have done so far has worked.”

The advice from a half dozen posts back still stands: check your forms against those in the FAQ.
