errors with no "www."

site works fine at: http://www.aquestionablefaith.com

totally broke at: http://aquestionablefaith.com

Currently, I have www.aquestionablefaith.com in the admin, site url field. If I removed the “www.” there, then the site won’t work with the www. on it… make sense?

any ideas?

many thanks!

Re: errors with no "www."

Er, they both appear broken to me. Looks like you’re missing some files.

Re: errors with no "www."

Your config.php has the wrong values in it. Did you run through setup?

Re: errors with no "www."

This is the error-message on both urls:

Warning: main(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home2/question/public_html/textpattern/publish.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/question:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/question/public_html/index.php on line 27

this looks like your config.php says “home2” although it should be saying “home”.

Re: errors with no "www."

hmmm, just found out my host is having some issues… that may be the problem.

I did manage to change the home2 to home, and it looks like it may have resolved that issue… can anyone confirm?

thanks,

Re: errors with no "www."

Yes, both work fine for me. :) I’ve marked the thread as resolved, unless I hear otherwise from you. :)
