Killing Smart Quotes

So I like Textile just fine — except for the Smart Quotes. I’m trying to get rid of them, and just commenting out the glyphs() function in lib/classTextile.php doesn’t seem to be doing the trick. Is there something else I need to be doing?

[Update] — Oh, turns out whacking glyphs() does work; I just had to resave everything to get it to replace the “smart” quotes with ones that won’t screw up my layout.
