Work around excerpts?

I just want to display the excerpts for the articles, which I have done already. Here’s where I have trouble:

1. The title won’t display when it goes to the full article (where can I add this in? what tags would I use?)
2. It shows a link to another article at the bottom of the full article page (where would I fix that?)

here’s my site

Thanks

Re: Work around excerpts?

Hi jmtame,

About the first point: I recommend you to read this tutorial written by Stuart:

How to use excerpts

And also, this FAQ:

How do I show only an excerpt in article lists?

Re: Work around excerpts?

  1. Looks like the title is there to me (yes, on the individual page). You modify what pieces of an article get displayed within your “forms”. You’re likely still using the form named “default”.
  2. That would be the tags link_to_prev and link_to_next. You’re also likely still using the default “pages”, so the “page” you want to edit is the one named “archive”.
