Errors on saving page template

Whenever I press ‘save’ in ‘presentation/pages’ (default) the first lines of code are copied above the existing ones making it unsuable.
It doesn’t matter whether I try to save my own code or just press save without changing anything.
The only way I can make the whole thing work is clean install.

Can anyone help, please?

Andrzej

Re: Errors on saving page template

Sorry, I don’t understand what’s happening? Can you take a screenshot or describe further?

PHP version: 4.2.2”

As a quick guess, that might be your problem right there. Do you get any warnings or notices?

Re: Errors on saving page template

Have a look at the screenshots:

1. I want to edit the template for the default page http://www.gsa.gfo.pl/1.gif
2. I click save – see the duplicated code that appeared? http://www.gsa.gfo.pl/2.gif
I marked the excess code in blue http://www.gsa.gfo.pl/3.gif

From that moment on there is nothing I found no better way out other than delete the database and reinstall textpattern. I may obviously be wrong.

Re: Errors on saving page template

Deleting the database doesn’t necesarily solve the problem, just throws away the evidence. ;)

What happens if you remove all the contents of the textarea and save? Does this same thing happen with your forms as well?
