Call to Safari Users [Version 2.0.2 (416.13)]
Hi there!
This post is a call to all Mac Users running Mac OS X (10.4.3) and, by the way, using Safari [Version 2.0.2 (416.13)].
For testing purposes, you have to go to the Archive Section of my Blog (sorry guys, it’s only in French but it doesn’t matter or change anything to the problem): <a href=“http://www.germaris.com/blog/index.php?s=archive”>Click here</a>
This page displays all the Articles sorted by Categories. Everything is okay here.
Then click on “MOIS (cliquer ici).” (MONTH (click here).) to get the Articles sorted by Month.
My Blog isn’t very old (first Article on November 12) but the page displays only one month (November) and into this Month it displays Articles from November AND December! But not all Articles are displayed: There’s a lack of display between November 21 and December 7.
What makes me think it’s a Safari Display Bug (and not a TextPattern one) is that the Source lists ALL the articles and well sorted!
Before placing a Bug Report to Apple about their Browser, I need to know if you, Safari Users, have experienced similar problems and if my page doesn’t display well on your Mac too.
Many thanks in advance for your support.
If destiny is against us, just too bad for it!

Re: Call to Safari Users [Version 2.0.2 (416.13)]
I just followed your instructions and I have a screen grab for you to check out. I’ll put it on my dropzone for you to pick up.
I did not experience the problem you describe. I have entries between 21 Nov and 7 Dec listed.
I’m using Mac OS X 10.4.3 and Safari 2.0.2 (416.13).
Tell me if I didn’t get the instructions right. That’s always a possibility!
Good luck…

You did it perfectly right !
And, as I can see on the Screen Shot, you got a good display.
Let’s wait and see for other feedbacks…
Maybe it’s my Safari which is faulty and maybe I should re-install it…
Thank you very much for testing and have a very nice weekend!
Cheers!

your page displays properly in Safari for me as well; same result as the previous reply, his screen grab shows what I’m seeing as well.
I would try inspecting things by looking at the DOM Tree and see if your lists are also properly built there, not just in the HTML source. The DOM Tree inspector is available if you have Safari in debug mode. That may (or may not) tell you something, depending on what you see there.
of course, clearing the cache, quitting the app (Safari), and reloading everything can * sometimes * resolve things like this, if it’s just a temporary window display/refresh anomaly, but that’s sort of like saying “hey, try rebooting.”
but it’s not a reproducable bug in Safari.

Germaris, I see what’s shown in the screen grab above.
I recommend doing what xbhoff says and clearing your cache (Safari —> Empty Cache). And <a href=“http://www.burobjorn.nl/blog/?p=65”>instructions to get Safari in debug mode</a> can be found all over the web.
