Cowinside.com & Ragingbullreviews.Com
Cowinside.com is my blog site, and raging bull reviews is a personal review site
With my blog I wanted to go minimal, away from the lovely but saturated green. They’re not very professional, because I suck at graphis, the cow itself is made by my friend. Stuart helped a lot with both sites so credit and thanks to him for his patience and wisdom (particularly with the plugin free archives code).
Would welcome feedback and criticism
Cheers

Hi sekhu, nice you are back with us….
I like your new site even though i am a fan of hatsfullofsky. I liked the green and the big cow on top. cowinside is a bit ‘clean’ for my taste.
Other than that: you are a great write. I really enjoy reading your articles eventhough the subjects are sometimes not funny .. your writing impresses me.

You know that actually looks quite good now. And you definitely looked better when you were younger.
The ragingbull link isn’t working for me though. :(

sekhu: I love the articles. The one about making a porn movie. ahh. Hilarious.
The website I’m not sure about. Cowinside is good. Not to keen on the layout of the reviews site.

Re: Cowinside.com & Ragingbullreviews.Com
well i’ve redesgined so would welcome some feedback on it yet again :p I was going to add a sidebar to the indiviudal article with the info at the top being displayed on the side, but I think it works well enough. I’ve tried to ensure that it’s easy to read.
I know the site is in 1024, but in order to get the five containers on the front to fit, and the navigation, i wasn’t sure how else to do it, besides it’s only my friends who read it and they don’t mind :)
My friend is hopefully working on a header for me, as I design-incapacitated
Cheers

Not so sure about the transition from grey to white when you have white text.

Re: Cowinside.com & Ragingbullreviews.Com
I’ve updated my blog site, cowinside
I used zen photo gallery for the gallery side of things, and highly recommend it as it’s easy to use, and even easier to manage
Thanks for the comment Nichod, gives me something to consider, I’m not sure how better to manage the transition from grey to white, as I don’t want the front containers to be white, although I could actually do that I guess…
Let me know what you think.
Thanks
