Re: A Christmas Present For Our Programmers

Cheddar is originally from Britain but made all over the World these days.

Re: A Christmas Present For Our Programmers

But English Cheddar is still THE Cheddar, especially a nice Farmhouse variety. :)

Isn’t it funny how simply mentioning cheese brings everyone to the forum.

I wonder if it can be coded.

Re: A Christmas Present For Our Programmers

Biased? Me? Because I am in Wisconsin? Phooey!

I was born in Somerset, UK, just down the road from Cheddar.

Andrew in California should know that his State actually produces more cheese than Wisconsin. Funny enough though, them Cali-phony-ones ship it to Wisconsin for packaging where it gets a made in WI label and commands a better price!

I have never had the pleasure of trying Stinking Bishop but do remember Dean wanting it.

Re: A Christmas Present For Our Programmers

OK already! I just paid my $5.00 ‘Cheese Tax’ and have a clear conscience!

No cheese-off, Andrew, I don’t think that a swift kick in the Knockalara would be considered polite at this festive time of year!

;o)

Merry Christmas yall,

Matthew

20$ on its way from me. Thanks to everyone who helped me and plenty of others this year. The spirit in this community is great (much better than TXD these days) and we should thank all those who developed this great product, plus the leaders of this forum.

Merry Christmas!

Re: A Christmas Present For Our Programmers

Mary was so nice to subscribe me as a parttime moderator so i could publish an article on the subject in the Announcement section of this forum.
Well, i am not a native english speaker. If someone could please be so kind to edit my text over there? That would be great. (Send improved version to me by email.)

EDIT some nice christmas styling would be great too? Any ideas?

Re: A Christmas Present For Our Programmers

Wow, I just stumbled onto this. I think this is a great idea, Alexandra, and I’m humbled by the fact that I see my name there, but honestly, I’m not sure I should be on that list. I’ve been moderator for only a short while, month maybe? I’d be pleased to see davidm replace me, he’s been wrangling the Francais forum since it started, and that’s a pretty active forum.

Look forward to mary’s mystery, must be good.

@Kemie, Thanks girl for the cheeese :)

@Destry, your work on the Textbook is incredible so is Davids. I love to enclose David and Stu as well on the christmaslist… but when everything started i was not sure… and i worried a bit we do not get money together… still i agree David should be on the list.. mhh let me think how we can manage..
