Centro Simon Wiesenthal
Helo everybody.
The Centro Simon Wiesenthal is the latinoamerican office,Argentina based, of an organization that tries to promote respect and tolerance, while denunces racism.
The basic idea was to reuse the material they are already creating, while slowly opening new ways of publication. A simple design, with a few authors and simple navigation was the goal for this first iteration.
You can see the site (in spanish) @ http://wiesenthal-latinoamerica.org/.
What do you think?
Thanks a lot for your feedback. :-)

Re: Centro Simon Wiesenthal
I love the color combination you have chosen. Very very sooth on the eyes. I also like the content structure, allthough there is just one tiny gripe I have with it and that is the width of the text and you using a single column. I tend to get distracted if the text width is too wide. With a flexible layout such as yours it can get a bit risky for users on large screens with high resolutions and having the browser at full size. Take a look at say this link: http://wiesenthal-latinoamerica.org/archivo/reunion-del-centro-wiesenthal-con-el-papa-benedicto-xvi
See what I mean? :)
Other than that, I think it’s a great design. :)

Hello Maleika:
Sorry the delay. I’ve been on a trip in a non very connected place (Patagonia).

Thanks, I will pass that to Romina Romano, the graphic designer. :-)

I know that effect (it gets harder to follow the line), but most users of those resolution including me (1280×800px) tends to have the browser at a less that full wide size.

Thanks a lot.
It was a challenge to migrate from their usual paper and mail based medium to a web one. This is the first step: content migration without modification.
Now comes a harder but more sutil work, that is, to make them write for the web.
Thanks for your kind attention. :-)
