sort categories in a different order!
Hi,
Is there a way to invert the sort of categories—like using sortdir=“desc”?

Anyone there?
I would like to do the same thing, but i don’t know how. I have some categories called Issue 10, Issue 11, Issue 12. And i would like to have the categories starting from the latest.

As far as I know this is not possible with the category list tag. But there are some plugins that let you change the order, this is one of them.

That’s correct, the category_list tag won’t allow you to change the sort order.

You could use the <code><txp:if_different></code> tag for this. I’ve done a write-up here. Just waiting for oldi to try it to see if it works OK. :)
