Turning off Archiving

Hi-

I’m using Textpattern for a Christmas list (I should have used del.icio.us, but didn’t, so I’m making this work, this year).

Anyway, I just realized that anything I posted over a month ago, has disappeared off the default page. I know somewhere I can tell it when to move articles into the archive, but I can’t find it. Any and all help would be nice, thanks!

Re: Turning off Archiving

in your articlle form give it a limit=“9999” if you want it all to be on one page. or limit=“1” if you want only one per page.

example :
<code>
<txp:article limit=“9999” />
</code>

:)

Re: Turning off Archiving

And don’t forget the paging tags, just in case you don’t want 9999 items on one page. :)

Good call Stuart.

Re: Turning off Archiving

Well I was just thinking that if coffeepostal didn’t have the paging tags in his page template, that’s probably a good reason for him not being able to see his older posts, the default “limit” being 10 and all. :)
