Re: [archived] sdr_guestbook

Thanks (bedankt) Sander! :D

Edit: Still have some problems. When page-navigation is selected to both, the page doesn’t validates because the navigation id is appearing 2 times on the page. So I think that should be a class.
Another weird thing is that the plugin or TXP inserts an invalid <code><BR></code> tag between the comments and the form :S. I can’t see that <code><BR></code> in any of my forms or something.

Re: [archived] sdr_guestbook

thanks for the plugin Sander

I have it running here http://www.pieman.net/clients/beatbreakaz/guestbook

One thing I can’t work out tho…
I have the ajw_comment_alt plugin also installed, which is great for styling alternate comments in normal situations.
Within the guestbook section however, it doesn’t seem to work properly. Instead of writing alternate clase names on the div it always writes the same one (even).

<code><ol> <li id=“c000019”> <div class=“comment even”></code>

Are the two plugins incompatible?

That’s a similar problem to mine I think. Sander, if you can find the time, will you also have a look at my post here, I think it’s related to pieman’s problem.

Thanks.

Re: [archived] sdr_guestbook

I know that sdr_guestbook is based on comments code originally implemented in textpattern 1.0b. Going forward to txp4.0, the comments code changed dramatically. These changes are only partly carried over into sdr_guestbook 4.0. However, for normal comments it’s working. I’m not aware of the awj_comment plugin, maybe it’s relying on new comments code. Will try to dive into this, but no promises. Time is a precious thing.

Re: [archived] sdr_guestbook

OK, if you get time that would be great.
If not, no worries.

Re: [archived] sdr_guestbook

Hi – hope someone can help me out, I’m totally stuck. I’ve got the plugin installed and mostly working. I’m running txp 4.0, and have the v4 version of the plugin. Problem is that I’m not getting any page numbers – I’ve added a bunch of test comments, so there are definitely more than 10.

The site in question is here

Re: [archived] sdr_guestbook

Have you include the attributes pagestring_placement=“bottom” and pagelimit=“10” in the tag?

Re: [archived] sdr_guestbook

is anoyone able to tell me how i can edit the plugin to have the line seperater appear above comments instead of below them. i am assuming i need to edit the code itself because i can`t see any way to edit this in the forms

Re: [archived] sdr_guestbook

Hey,

I am using this plugin but it wont work?
The version is 4.0 of the plugin, the plugin is active.
I created an article calles guestbook with the comments on.

This is my code <code>< txp:sdr_guestbook section=“guestbook” pagelimit=“10” articletitle=“Guestbook” / ></code>

The standard TP input form and artcile output are still intact.
What could be the problem?

Re: [archived] sdr_guestbook

Konijn,

Just to make sure:

1. did you create a section called “guestbook”?
2. did you remove the spaces between < txp and / >?
