Main page "Not found"?!
I have recently installed a fresh version of Textpattern. All went well, and i started to modify the style to my convenience. After some fiddling i was able to make a style that fitted my needs perfectly (nice coding, thanks!).
But today when i try to load the page nothing happened. All my browser said was: “Not found”, which really is annoying. I installed a new one, as i suspected that something was wrong with my databases. I copied the css and default, from my previous design to my new site. And then it happened again!
So: Where is the default css, and default “presentation” file located?! I havde searched everywhere but i can’t find in the package!
Or: Do you have any idea what is going on?

These are not files, everything is in the database. If you’ve lost the default style, pages or forms, you can find them here.

You did not by accident remove index.php?

Re: Main page "Not found"?!
I have tried to replace the style, and default with the standard ones. Nothing.
And i haven’t removed index.php.
It must be a problem with my host. Damn.
The wierdest thing is that the admin section works perfectly.

Re: Main page "Not found"?!
If the admin interface is there, and you’re getting ‘not found’ when trying to view the front end, I would suspect that it’s either .htaccess or index.php (in the root). You might try to replace them with the original files?

Re: Main page "Not found"?!
Not enough information here. As per the FAQ, we’ll need a copy of your diagnostics, an exact copy of the error message, and preferrably a link to the site.

Re: Main page "Not found"?!
Something is screwy – when you fetch “/index.php”, the server looks for “/obskur/index.php”.
Could be some kind of aliasing or url rewriting by your web host, or it might be that Textpattern (or parts of it) is installed in the wrong place.
Check that Textpattern’s index.php file exists in /web/www/frac/users/obskur. If it does, remove .htaccess and switch to Messy URL mode. You might find some help here.

Thanks!
