Re: Add an admin side navigational tab to this php?

Regarding the write tab being highlighted, that’s because of how the default tab is setup within Textpattern: it’s hard-coded in the file. Not much that can be done about that, short of patching Textpattern.

Regarding not being a top-level tab, that’s also because of hard-coding; you can only add sub-tabs to the existing top-level tabs. This was something I patched in the facelift. You can certainly add it as a top-level tab yourself by modifying txplib_head.php. Starting at line 157 of that file you can see how the tabs are added. In there you’d put something like (off the top of my head, haven’t checked it): areatab('dashboard', 'asy_dashboard', 'asy_dashboard', $area).

That error is strange. I don’t see it anywhere. My guess would be to double-check your copy of pasted code, make sure it’s got nothing added or missing.

Re: Add an admin side navigational tab to this php?

That’s all correct. It is coming from something within the plugin though (that’s what “eval()’d code on line 100” means). Do you get this error, Stuart?

Sorry, I was eating. I haven’t seen any errors but TextGarden is in “Live” mode. Let me go check.

Re: Add an admin side navigational tab to this php?

Nope. I’ve tried in Testing and Debugging modes and I don’t get any errors at all either on the splash page itself or the asy_dashboard tab. Maybe it’s conflicting with some other plug-in that Matthew is using. You know I avoid them unless needed. ;)

Re: Add an admin side navigational tab to this php?

Stuart,
I tried that, to no avail.
I turned all other plugins off, and I still got this error?

EDIT
I deleted the contents of the form “asy_dashboard” and the error is gone.

So, thanks :)

Any ideas about where the error comes from:

Re: Add an admin side navigational tab to this php?

Deleted the form? But doesn’t that mean you don’t have a splash page now?

Re: Add an admin side navigational tab to this php?

Oops.
That’d be the problem.

Son of a…

I was really hoping to be able to post a series of tutorial articles in here.

Maybe that’s too complicated?

Mary, is that just rediculous, or is it an easier fix than I am guessing.

Sorry it took me this long to figure that one out :)

Matthew

ps. It was working. I was able to post articles internally, even though the error was showing up?

Oh now there’s a shame. And here was me thought I was going back to High School. So have the errors disappeared?
