Re: TXP Admin: Article list Question?

Modifying txp_article.php’s form has nothing to do with permissions to delete, which is also within an entirely different page altogether.

Re: TXP Admin: Article list Question?

Okay dokey,
So I guess I will test again, and then submit a bug report.

Interesting indeed, given the fact that even the developers aren’t aware of that feature ;-)

You can easily try for yourself by concurrently editing an article in two browser windows / browser tabs.

Re: TXP Admin: Article list Question?

Edit : my post above: Posting here to keep it bumped.

The article did not get deleted.
I was “assuming” I would see a javascript error, like “sorry you fool, you cannot delete someone else’s article!”
But hey, I’m the fool in this case.

However,
I will submit a bug report that images do not follow this same protocol, but should. I am assuming that’s not part of the fix that Mary is speaking about above.

For what its worth,

Matthew

Re: TXP Admin: Article list Question?

I understand that the devs like to prioritize features to be implimted. I though i would just get my idea out there. This topic should really be moved to Feature Request.

Re: TXP Admin: Article list Question?

Wet – it’s been a while since I’ve done any concurrent editing so I have no idea if they’ve changed the behaviour since. Are you still getting a warning when editing in 2 separate windows?

NXArmada – I would start afresh in the other forum. This thread has kind of gone off the subject a bit.

Agreed,
Sorry, that’s partially my fault.

I’ve never got one, and I do not get one with the latest and greatest svn version today. So beware of concurrent edits: The last who saves wins. That’s what zem said then, and it is still true now.
