Brazilian Portuguese - New localisation (pt-br.txt)
Hi,
My name is Wagner, I’m talk from Brasil and this is my first post in this forum, my english is very poor, so please, be patience :)
Believe in me when I say that the Brazilian Portuguese has many differences of the Portuguese who is supported by the TXP.
For this, I translated the TXP for the Brazilian Portuguese, however, many texts as the help files stay out of the pt-pt.txt. So I would like to offer my self as voluntary to keep a Brazilian version of the TXP.
You can take the pt-br.txt file at this here . It’s made over the last version of the en-gb.txt (01. November 2005 10:25:47 GMT).
Tanks for this tool, I realy love TXP!

Re: Brazilian Portuguese - New localisation (pt-br.txt)
Greetings, I’m also from Brazil.
Thanks a lot for your effort.
I work as translator from English, Italian, German and Russian to Portuguese, mainly from English, though the contrary sometimes may be very tough.
My will was to work on a serious and always up to date Brazilian Portuguese translation to TXP. I’ve taken a brief look in your translation and I can say you already did it. Congratulations!
It would be nice if TXP team include it on the official release, since the Portuguese available there is from Portugal, what’s quite annoying for us Brazilians.
One technical question: how the heck do I type in those funny character encoding, like: “diagnóstico” for “diagnóstico” ?

Dae tche,

Limited English Version ;-)
Thanks, I realy apreciete if you help me with sujestions and corrections. I’m just waiting Dan returns from USA to add me on the snv to became a official brasilian portuguese translator of the txp.
About your question, it is simple, use a editor with UTF-8 support ;-)
See ya.
