controll comments

Is it possible to do this:

I would like for everyone to be able to write comments without having to login with a username or password. But rather than them being published strait away i would like them to wait for approval from the admin in the admin site. Very similiar to Moderation Queue plugin from mafre, but his plugin works only for articles. Is it possible to have the same thing for comments?

As far as I know, there is no need to login with username and password to write comments.

There is an option for this in the admin prefs. It says something like “Moderate comments? Yes/no”

It did all i wanted. Something else. I am showing the 5 recent comments in a left column. At the moment i get the name of the person who wrote the comment and the title of the article, but i don’t get anything from their comments. Is there a way of changing how that appears. I would like to show also the first few senteces of their comments, something similiar to <a href=“http://txpmagazine.kbbu.de/” title=“Txp magazine”>Txp magazine</a>

You can use the plugin rei_recent_comments for that.

the plugin seems to be unavailable at the moment (404 on the download link). does anyone have a backup of it?
