[wiki] <txp:section /> documentation.
Hi,
I want to suggest a change to the txp:section documentation at the Textbook.
The adding is underlined.
Classification
The section tag is a Single_Tag Textpattern will replace this tag with the name of the current Section <ins>(when in page template) or the name of the article Section (when in article form)</ins>, or the section as defined with the name attribute. Can be used in any context.
Please, Destry, if you consider to make this change, feel free to re-write the sentence in a better way than me.
BTW, to suggest corrections in documentation is one of the objetices of this forum category, am I right?

What? You don’t have an account in TextBook<em>!?!</em> Ooo<em>ooooooo</em>…we are changing that Mr. maniqui.

Absolutely. And now that you soon have a shiny, new TxB account, well, there’s no stopping you.
I suspect Rick will get to that change if you don’t, though, the Tag Index is largely the fruit of his hard labor.
(Rick: we are dropping the green and yellow flags from TextBook article titles. People consider them too distracting, and it’s probably true. If we had little, little icons, like a yellow triangle and a green check, for example, that were positioned in the ends like superscripts, that might be nifty, but at the moment we don’t and the version number flags are just too labor intensive and therefore easily outdated. Anyway, just a heads up, work on it over time.) Or anybody else besides Rick.

Thanks, Destry. It’s an honor for me to have a TxB account. I will do my best to try to learn the wiki philosophy and also how to use a wiki.
But, please, be kind with me, remember that english isnt my native language.
I will suggest the changes first in the forum, just to have a bit of feedback before making any change.
And I think that “workflow” will be very positive for the TxB Project.
I mean: before changing something, if I have any doubt, I come here and suggest the change, get some feedback to know if the suggested change is comprehensible. Then, finally, update the wiki.
Also, I would like to participate in spanish translations of the TxB. Really dont know if I will have the time to do it, but well, at least, I have the intention.

Re: [wiki] <txp:section /> documentation.
<code><txp:section /></code> does indeed look for the $name attribute first, $thisarticle[‘section’] second, then @pretext[‘s’] for the page context. Important behavior to note.

What do you mean, Rick?
What should be expected from that behaviour?

That means that first it will look for a specific section. Then, if you’re within an individual article, that article’s section. Finally, it looks for the current section you are viewing. The first one it finds, in that order, is the section info it returns.
