Textgarden Theme Difficulties
I am trying to install the textgarden theme, and I thought it would be extremely easy. However After setting up the CSS, uploading the images it doesn’t display correctly. I am thinking I may need to chage the page code, as the CSS doesn’t reference any div id’s of the default page code. However I cant seem to find and page code to go with the textgarden theme. Can someone tell me where i’m going wrong.

It is probably because the download was created somewhile ago and the default template in TXP has been changed since. Anyway the first thing you need to check is that the image URLs in the CSS point to your images. Ensure that the path is correct and if you have uploaded the images using TXP you will need to change the image names to the image numbers. I will email you the CSS that is currently being used by the TextGarden site, which is using TXP 4.0.2 and you can then compare the two of them but you should remember that there are some things in there that only apply to the site and won’t be needed in your own CSS. It is really just a case of looking at the class and id names used in the template and changing the CSS names to suit.

Thanks very much for that, can you also send me the page code as I dont think the default textpattern code is right. I’m getting there but its not displaying images correctly.

the link was just an image with my email address embedded in it, wasnt aware that the site had an email feature.
but thanks alot for sending the code to me! Im changing it around and fixing my image locations now.

it was the wrong link anyway, that was too a blank template so it wouldnt have helped at all anyway.
But, textgarden should really get on to fixing their theme…

If you are referring to the original Textgarden theme that Sivert created, you might want to check the comments where it mentions the updated version.
