setup 404 error
I seriously feel like an idiot and that I’m missing something but I’ve looked and cannot figure out why when I try to point my browser to the database setup screen it just tells me the folder/files arent there with a 404. What is going on?
(Edit: updated title to something more useful. :) -Mary)

Re: setup 404 error
It sounds like the path to setup folder is not correct. Assuming you uploaded the textpattern folder to the top level of your web root folder (this is often called “public_html” on many servers) your path should look something like this:

http://www.yourwebsite.com/textpattern/setup/

Re: setup 404 error
Are you sure you uploaded all of the Textpattern files and subdirectories?

What’s in /home/mydir/public_html/textpattern/setup/
