Re: "Browsing by Section" comes up blank.
Hi, I would like to have different categories dependant on the section they are in and displayed on the page that section uses instead of trying to use the home page. I noticed a few sites have dropped the categories which I assume is because they couldn’t figure out a simple solution to this. Am I missing something really straight forward, I am pretty new to textpattern so a pointer in the right direction would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance …

No you aren’t missing anything. It’s not that straight forward but there is a solution.

Re: "Browsing by Section" comes up blank.
You don’t have to use clean urls, that’s just the example. You would do:
<a href="<txp:site_url />?s=<txp:section />&c=<txp:category1 />"><txp:category1 /></a>
Then you just need to make use of if_category on your page.
