Excerpt field missing in WRITE
I may have gotten rid of it through hacking up the PHP, thinking that I wouldn’t need to use it, but it turns out that I do need it. The only text fields on my WRITE page is the Title and Body right now.
Anyone know how I can add the Excerpt field? Or know which file has to be edited to show/hide it? Thanks.

Can u tell us how u fixed the problem?
I have the same problem, although i didn’t touch the php, I just installed txp on my laptop as a development case but cant see the excerpt on the write page….
Help anyone?

In Admin > Preferences, under Advanced preferences, check if ‘Articles use excerpts?’ is set to ‘yes’.

Ofcourse… how stupid of me…
Maybe cause I spent many hours stairing at it that can’t see nothing anymore…lolll
less coffee and more sleep I say.
