Problem with Forms tab

I was recieving a 403 from the Forms Tab, as described in three unanswered posts.

Using the link www.mysite.com/textpattern/?event=form& as suggested by speap worked

does anyone know why this is happening?

The first two posts were made back in February. Why they were unanswered then, I don’t know, but your response only appeared today.

What have you set as your site url in the admin prefs?

my url is set to the top level of the domain im running textpattern on: www.mysite.com/blog/

Do you mean that your site url is my-site.com/blog/, or that you have my-site.com and a section named blog? It makes a difference.

the url of my textpattern site is my-site.com/blog/, it is not located in the root, but in this subdomain and this is what my admin prefs is set to. ..

Textpattern admin is here:
http://my-site.com/blog/textpattern/

And if you try and go here:
http://my-site.com/blog/textpattern/index.php?event=form

it won’t allow it? Could you please post your diagnostics tab output?

yep thats it. and i cant get to …/textpattern/index.php?event=form
but i can get there from the tab that goes to …/textpattern/?event=form
