Displaying number of comments made by a member?

Hello

I’m totally new to TP and impressed so far

I’m wondering if it possible to display a registered members post count – that is, the number of comments they have made next to/below their name when they reply to an article? (So a kind of a similar display found in most forum software like this one, though I’m not asking about forum integration).

I tried searching this question but had no luck.

I’ll add to that, it would be nice to see to see how active members are as well? I have a community site and it would be good to know if people who are signed up are participating?

I’m looking for this as well.. might need a plugin with an email address as it’s parameter (if it’s to be displayed along with a comment).
