Email notification of articles
Is there a plug-in for notifying a mail list when an article has been posted?
Ideally, this would include the text of the article in the email; at least, the URL back to the article online.

Not in core. Maybe with a plugin (should be simple) but I don’t know any. I guess there is not much demand for this (strange… but…).

Jeremie, thanks. I do think it strange as well. In our communities, the option to receive complete blog texts by email is considered killer by true end-users (the 85% of the Net-engaged world who still haven’t heard of RSS).
Maybe TxP is too advanced!

If anyone has some notions of PHP, it should be simple. Hook into admin write, when an article is published for the first time simply mail it to a specified email, with some text around it (url and so).
