Re: hit_logger plugins alpha v0.9.06 - could use some testers.

What do the symbols “I – * ^” etc.. mean? I reread the thread and the plugin info, and can’t decipher them? Thanks.

As shishira said, there should be pop-up text for all links on the user interface. I’ve actually seen a bug in FireFox that prevents these from being displayed, so I’ll list the flags here.

? the page hit was from a search engine

= instead of a page, a file was requested * one of the search engine’s automated “spiders” indexed the page /+ these two flags tell if this was a unique () or duplicate (+) page hit # this referrer is a spammer X the requested page wasn’t found, a “404” ^ you configured requests for this page to be redirected to another page

Sorry that the documentation is a little weak, I’ll be fixing that as soon as I can.

I know this was raised before, but I didn’t find a workaround if any, in this thread. The Daily Hit Statistics has stopped after 14 days. How do I refresh it or change it to make it current? Thanks.

Re: hit_logger plugins alpha v0.9.06 - could use some testers.

Hey Lee

I have been using this on my site without a hitch and I place this on a site I have been building for someone and I am getting an error after it’s been installed for a few days. The error is creeping up mostly showing in ie and opera, but showing every once in a while in gekko. Instead of linking to the other post I’m gonna paste it here to see if you can give me any possible insight or suggestions. I’m not 100% sure it’s this plugin, but I have deactivated all others and the error shows. I activate all others except this and it reappears after a time.

I think I have tracked it to asy_jpcache.

I really like this plugin but noticed some bugs and CSS issues. Hi Lee, are you still developing this great plugin? Any hope this will ever be final?

I love this too! Been using it for a while now, and hope it gets to final status. :)
