Select type of categories for category_list
It would be great if category_list had an option to show different types of categories like type=“link” or type=“image”.
Refresh Dallas and other Refreshing Cities.

category list can accept a type parameter type=“article” or type=“link” etc.. (i think)
the code says it does anyway…edit: I just gave it a go (been meaning to try) and it does work; but the links for files, image and link all go to a regular category list. Is there somthing I am missing there?

If I use the tagbuilder for category_list it has a select menu and paremeter for “category”. Whats that for ‘cos it just seems to show all the categories for me?

I think that will list sub-categories of the “parent” if you have them.

Thats what parent seemed to do on it’s own – wether “category” param exists or not…category is not in the atts for the category_list function.

In that case then I think it may be “superfluous to requirements” but I think a Dev would need to answer that. ;)

It would be nice if parent=“whatever” would not show the parent just sub-categories. Then category_list would be perfect.
