special url sheme for one section
This is some kind of advanced problem – I’m not sure if it can be done with textpattern. I don’t want to hack the source.
I’m trying to achieve the following:
On my website there are 2 main sections: “magazine” and “projects” (there are more but these are the main ones). I’m using /section/title
and I’m fine with it for the magazine, but I need something different only for the “projects” section: /projects/project-title/article-title
. The name of the project is given by category1 of an article in this section so the url sheme is something like that: /section/cat1/title
.
- How can I do this for just one section leaving the rest of the site untouched?
- How can I do this and have dynamic lists of all articles on the frontpage with different kinds of url regarding the article section?
Thanks for any help!
Nils

Re: special url sheme for one section
never tried this plugin but meaning to:
nck_olm – Override permanent link mode for sections
edit: tho it probably doesn’t help you with your requirements
gbp_faux_static – uri forwarding might assist?
